“Each person’s life is like a mandala, a vast limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life”. – Pema Chodron
Last weekend we took a break at a beach resort. I like sitting by the water (not a fan of getting into it, though). So, typically found myself a space to settle down.
Something had been bugging me for a while – Every time that I seem to be close to succeeding at something, I self- sabotage my progress. And quite frankly, am now tired of it. Sitting by the water that day, I took out my mandala book and set myself an intention to figure out what my fear is.
When I finished it, I realised that I do have a lot of good things going on in my life and yet, I allow some of my outdated beliefs as well as, some underlying issues of self doubt and inadequacy toΒ overshadow my efforts.
Knowing that, I can now, work on changing my beliefs to support me to attain my full potential.
If you have an issue that you are tired of thinking about, would like a new perspective or insight into what is going on in your life……..
Try a mandala.
ππ Love the fact that one can inrospect while getring lost in the world of Mandala drawing.
