I consider this painting to be one of my best, I love the colours used and how bright they are! It took me about 13 hours in total and it was a new experience painting on such a large canvas.The most challenging part was getting the shadows on her back to look realistic but I did like how it turned out. I used a pallet knife more than brushes to get a more abstract and flowy feel for the dress. I also used the pallet knife to add texture around the skirt and hair. Overall I had fun and I really enjoyed painting this!
